Salon Etiquette


Contact Details
It may appear we are gathering your personal details, such as phone numbers or e-mail addresses purely for marketing purposes; this is not the only reason we ask. Our OH&S policy requires us to be able to contact you quickly should the need arise; for example, a product recall due to a health risk. Our privacy policy will protect the confidentiality of this information and we guarantee to never give or sell this information to a third party.

Appointments
Where possible we prefer to see you by appointment; it allows us to give you the time you deserve.
If you are unable to keep your appointment would you please let us know; on busy days we often have a waiting list. As a guide, 24 hours notice is usually sufficient time for us to offer your appointment to someone on our waiting list.
A “no-show”, that is a failure to keep an appointment and a failure to let us know will be noted; following three “no-shows” you will be asked to leave a credit card deposit for any future appointments.
Please arrive up to 10 minutes prior to your appointment; this will ensure your complete appointment time is available.
If for any reason you arrive late for an appointment, your appointment time will be reduced accordingly. Where possible, if time allows, you will receive your full treatment; if this is not possible you will be offered a "scaled down" version or given the opportunity to re-book.
An appointment of over 90 minutes will require a credit card deposit; which may be non-refundable should you fail to keep your appointment without notice.

Medical Information
On your first visit to the salon you will complete a medical history questionnaire; it is your responsibility to inform your therapist of any changes to that information over time.
We particularly ask you to tell us about medications, allergies/sensitivities, current medical conditions or treatments.

Valuables
Whilst every effort is made to make and keep the salon safe and secure, the reality, is many people come and go during a day. We therefore ask you to leave your valuables such as jewellery at home.

Mobile Phones
We ask you, on arrival, to turn-off your mobile phone for both your’s and other client’s peace and quiet.

Payment
We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
We do not add a surcharge on any form of payment, not even Amex.
We do not at any time accept cheques or extend credit; so please do not ask.
We reserve the right to change either the prices charged and/or the services offered at any time and without prior notice.
